How to solve the shaking of the woodworking engraving machine during the engraving process?
Preface
Regardless of the product and equipment, some problems may occur during long-term operation and use, and the woodworking engraving machine will also be the same. For example, in the process of engraving the product, there is a problem that the engraving edge is not smooth. What caused it and how to solve it?
The cause of issue
1. There may be a gap between the x-axis or y-axis of the engraving machine and the slider or track, and there may also be a gap between the two axes at the same time, resulting in shaking during the engraving process and deviation of the engraving path, causing the engraving edge to not be round.
2. The difference between the linear speed of the engraving machine and the speed of the curve is too large, causing the engraving machine to vibrate when walking the curve, and the engraving path will deviate and the engraving edge will not be smooth.
Solution
1. For the first reason, if the engraving machine is a round rail, it is necessary to find a way to replace the guide rail or the slider, depending on the reason. If it is a square rail, it is much simpler, just adjust the upper and lower or front and rear sliders.
2. The second reason is to change the speed of the straight line or the curve, and the change value depends on the parameters of the engraving machine. The X direction and Y direction are indeed the same method, take the X direction as an example. First move the tool slowly to the left side of the material by fine-tuning, turn the tool gently by hand until the tool just touches the material, then clear the left side of the X workpiece at this time, then lift the tool and move it to the right , The same is to just touch the tool to the right side of the material, and write down the X workpiece coordinate at this time. Then half of this value is the center of the material in the X direction.
The same is true in the Y direction.
In this way, the center of the woodworking engraving machine in the X and Y directions is determined, which is equivalent to the origin of the workpiece. Use the engraving machine to accurately align the direction of the material, set a straight bits on the spindle, and then drop the tool on the table, run the machine along one side of the material, and use the gap between one side of the material and the bits find the direction of the material.
